History of Cati
History of CATI
Founded in 1983, Hamilton Catastrophe Claims Service (the parent company Catastrophe Adjuster Training Institute) realized the desperate need in our industry for quality adjuster training.
CATI was Established in January, in Irving, Texas. The school was incredibly successful from the onset as there was such a desperate need for hands on training. The school started with 3 classes – Texas Licensing, Adjusting 101, and Xactimate. Today CATI has evolved into a national training hub for insurance companies and independent adjusters alike. CATI now offers more than 30 hands on courses and over 600 online classes. As of today, CATI has trained over 60,000 staff and independent adjusters combined.
In 2012 CATI moved forward again. The traditional classroom walls came down and the training facility now utilizes 21 mockup structures ranging from fires to floods and from collisions to hail damage.
In the near future, CATI will be breaking ground on a new campus that will revolutionize training again.
